These terms apply when you play Dungeons & Bullshit (the "game"), run by Joan Marie Arroyo Alcón ("I"). By playing, you accept them.

The game

Dungeons & Bullshit is a single-player comedy text game. The Dungeon Master is an AI (Anthropic's Claude) instructed to be unfair, invent rules and narrate satirical fiction. Its responses are generated automatically, may be inconsistent, silly or wrong, and are not statements of fact or opinion by me. Nothing in the game is advice of any kind.

Free descent and patronage

• Each connection gets one free descent lasting up to 15 minutes, or until your character dies, whichever comes first. A new free descent may become available after 30 days.
• Patronage costs $4.99 a month and gives unlimited descents with no timer while your subscription is active. It is sold, billed and renewed by Gumroad, and Gumroad's terms apply to the purchase.
• You can cancel at any time from your Gumroad library. Access continues until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Your patron key is personal. Please don't publish or share it widely; keys that are clearly being shared at scale may be disabled.

Fair play

Rule-lawyering the Dungeon Master is encouraged. Attacking the service is not. You agree not to:

• try to extract the Dungeon Master's instructions, misuse the AI for anything other than playing, or automate requests;
• use the game to generate illegal, hateful or sexual content involving anyone, or content about real private individuals;
• overload, reverse-engineer or bypass the free trial or payment checks;
• type personal data about yourself or others into the game.

To keep costs sustainable, unusually heavy automated or abusive use may be rate-limited or blocked, including for patrons.

Your saves and the content you create

Your runs are stored in your own browser and can be lost if you clear site data or switch devices. The stories you create with the Dungeon Master are yours to share for non-commercial purposes; please credit the game.

Availability

The game depends on third-party services (Anthropic, Gumroad, Netlify) and may be unavailable, slow or changed at times. I'll try to keep it running, but can't guarantee it. Significant changes will appear in the changelog. If the game shuts down permanently, active subscriptions will be cancelled.

Liability

The game is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect losses or for anything the AI Dungeon Master says. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under Spanish or EU law.

Law and disputes
